Meet Your Therapist

Meet Sarah Biniasz

I am the Owner and Therapist at Gentle Waves Therapy & Wellness, a child, adolescent, and family-focused practice grounded in connection, emotional safety, and developmentally informed care. I bring over 10 years of experience working in both education and mental health settings, supporting children and families across clinical and educational environments.

My Approach

Is warm, relational, and collaborative, integrating evidence-based practices with play therapy and expressive techniques to meet each child where they are. I specialize in helping children and adolescents navigate emotional, behavioral, social, and school-related challenges, while also working closely with parents and caregivers to strengthen relationships and build practical strategies for home.

I believe children communicate through play, and therapy provides a safe space for understanding, regulation, and growth. I also value strong collaboration to support consistency across environments.

Gentle Waves Therapy & Wellness was created as a calm, supportive space where individuals can grow at their own pace—through life’s challenges with steadiness, care, and connection.
